free patterns!

I'm short on sewing blogs despite the fact that sewing was my first crafting love.  I just discovered that Burda is offering some patterns for free, and free from copyright to encourage new designs.  The site also appears to have a place for people to post completed projects and some help/how-to stuff.

Hopefully I will manage to make either Maddy or Celeste (which is basically an expansion of Maddy it appears) very soon.  The styling on these items reminds me a lot of a beautiful vintage dress I found in college.  Unfortunately when I got it back from the dry-cleaners it was completely stretched out and therefore about 5 times too big.

But first I must finish something.  Like the cord skirt I've been meaning to make for a couple years now.  Or the striped skirt I meant to make last June.  Or removing 5-10 G from my computer so I can remove the photos sitting on my camera's memory cards.
